Many of our Escapes are hosted by local residents who will welcome you into the community and share with you their insight on the surrounding area, history, and culture. Your Escape can be customized to include the activities and experiences you would enjoy most.

Multi-dimensional. Local Escapes encourages a diverse mix of activities and experiences. Our guides and hosts integrate references to regional history, culture, and environment throughout your activities to offer unique perspectives on your surroundings and an overall enriching experience.

Interactive. Local Escapes offers an alternative to the traditional sightseeing tour. We don’t want you to simply see the Northwest, we want you to experience it and all that it has to offer. Designed for all skill levels, our Escapes will pair you up with the activities that will allow you to touch and feel the Northwest, as well as see it from different angles.
